Director promotion at Macdonald Henderson

Legal firm Macdonald Henderson has promoted Alan McKee, who heads its commercial dispute resolution team, to the position of director.

Mr McKee, who joined Macdonald Henderson in November 2010, founded the team which he now leads. He has also overseen the growth of the firm’s court practice to complement the firm’s core services in corporate and commercial property, and conduct large and technical litigations in its own right.

He has recently been appointed as the next chairman of the Glasgow & West of Scotland Insolvency Forum, the group for professionals working in the personal and corporate insolvency sector.

"Alan represents an unusual balance of a strong litigation and insolvency skillset combined with a remarkable ability to engage and foster client relations – resulting in a terrific flow of work for all practice areas of the firm, not just his own department", the firm said.
