Discipline Tribunal annual report published

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal has published its annual report for 2015-16.

It shows the work that the Tribunal has carried out in the year to 31 October 2016 and the issues leading to findings of professional misconduct, 22 of which were made during the year compared with 25 in 2014-15. The report highlights some issues which arose in cases during the year, and comments on the difficulties facing lay persons making applications to the tribunal.
