Edinburgh to host 2022 World Congress on Adult Guardianship

Edinburgh is to host the 2022 World Congress on Adult Guardianship.

The biennial event will come to Europe for only the second time, having previously been staged in Japan, Australia, United States and Germany. This year's event in Seoul, South Korea, which has just concluded, offered 140 presentations to 500 delegates from more than 30 countries across all continents. The 2020 congress will take place in Argentina.

Adrian Ward, the Scottish solicitor who is a leading international figure in the field, is a member of the international advisory board for the congresses  and of its four-person steering group.
