Eight promoted across Ledingham Chalmers' offices

25th April 2018 | careers

Solicitor firm Ledingham Chalmers has announced eight promotions across its Inverness, Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices.

Five associates from Aberdeen and Inverness have risen to senior associate: Jennifer Cham and Nicky Nicolson from Aberdeen’s corporate and residential property teams respectively, along with three Inverness colleagues – Elisa Miller, commercial property; Andrew Stott, corporate; and Sine Mackay, employment.

Advancing from senior solicitor to associate are Amy Dignan from the firm’s litigation team in Edinburgh, along with Aberdeen-based Emma Somerville in family law, and Emma McNay in defender reparation.

The firm's headcount across its four offices (the fourth is in Stirling) is 151, including 30 partners.

Chairman and partner Jennifer Young commented: “These well-deserved promotions are first and foremost recognition of the considerable talent of each of these lawyers.”

She added: “These promotions are also an acknowledgment of the important role all eight have played over the past year as we continue to focus on sustainable growth for the firm: standing ourselves apart from our competitors and positioning ourselves as somewhere people want to come and work.”
