Five new partners among Harper Macleod promotions
Law firm Harper Macleod has announced five new partner apppointments among seven promotions in the business, four of the promotions in the private client team.
In that team, Julie Doncaster, who specialises in asset protection and tax planning matters, and Jacqueline Leslie, who specialises in wills, trusts and estates, both step up from associate to partner. Susie Henderson and Allyson Gilchrist are advanced from assistant to associate.
Craig McKerracher, who joined the firm as a trainee, becomes the eighth partner in the firm's corporate department. He specialises in advising family-owned, owner-managed and employee-owned businesses.
Inverness-based crofting law, community projects and rural and commercial property specialist Calum MacLeod becomes a partner in the energy & natural resources department.
The fifth partner promotion is Fiona Pask, an Edinburgh-based member of the dispute resolution team who specialises in high-value, complex work in the Court of Session team.
These promotions bring Harper Macleod's partner strength to 62.
Chairman Professor Lorne D Crerar commented: “The firm is in good health and these promotions demonstrate our confidence for the immediate future and beyond and are supported by a wide ranging recruitment drive. With new partners in each of our offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness, these appointments reflect the opportunities we see for the firm across the country.”
