Former Children's Commissioner joins SCRA board
Former Children's Commissioner Tam Baillie has joined the board of the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration.
Mr Baillie, who was Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People from 2009 to 2017, has worked as a manager and practitioner with children and young people for almost 40 years. His experience includes community based support to vulnerable children and young people; throughcare and aftercare services; homeless and street based services; and developing policy and legislation.
His new appointment will be for four years, from 17 September 2018 to 31 August 2022. It attracts a remuneration of £174.42 per day for a time commitment of 1.5 days per month.
