Former Society president takes on new role

Former President of the Law Society of Scotland, Bruce Beveridge, has joined thinkWhere, a specialist in the use of geographic information, as a non-executive director and chair.

Beveridge has extensive senior executive and board experience in a career which has included the Government Legal Service for Scotland and roles as Legal Secretary to the Lord President of the Court of Session, Deputy Keeper at Registers of Scotland and Head of Rural Communities at the Scottish Government. Bruce also sits as a charity trustee and runs his own consulting business.

thinkWhere is a leading independent Geographic Information System (GIS) consultancy, based in Stirling, with customers across the UK. It specialises in digital mapping, Open Source GIS and other spatial technologies.
