Four promoted at Digby Brown

7th April 2015 | reparation

Personal injury solicitors Digby Brown have announced four internal promotions, including two new partners and two associates.

Simon Hammond, in the firm's Edinburgh office, and David Nellaney in the Glasgow office, have been assumed as partners. Both first joined Digby Brown as trainees, in 2005 and 2004 respectively.

The two new associates are Kirsty O’Donnell, one of the insurance litigation team in Glasgow since 2010, and Colin Moffat, also origninally a trainee at the firm, who will be responsible for developing its work in Ayrshire and the south west of Scotland.

Chief executive Fraser Oliver commented: “It is a pleasure to announce these promotions. Simon Hammond and David Nellaney both have strong areas of expertise, a track record of representing people in difficult and demanding situations and are already leading teams and developing our business. Along with the other partners in the firm, I am looking forward to working alongside them as we continue to grow and develop.

“Kirsty O’Donnell and Colin Moffat have both added enormous value, both to their clients and to their teams and colleagues, since they have been with us. Their promotions to associate are a reflection of this and both have important roles to play in the coming years."
