Friday deadline for booking first SCJC information event

People interested in the work of the Scottish Civil Justice Council have until Friday of this week to sign up for the SCJC's first information event providing an update on current projects.

The event will cover work carried out during 2014-15, including draft rules as part of courts reform implementation, and what it plans to do throughout 2015-16.

It takes place at 4pm for 4.15pm on Thursday 2 July 2015 in Parliament Hall at the Court of Session, Edinburgh. Speakers will deliver speeches from 4.15pm-5.15pm approximately, and a canapé and drinks reception will follow to which all attendees are invited.

Anyone wishing to attend should contact the Scottish Civil Justice Council Secretariat at scjc@scotcourts.gov.uk by end of business Friday 19 June 2015 to reserve a place(s).
