Geoff Clarke QC to chair Faculty Services Ltd
Geoff Clarke QC has been elected Chair of Faculty Services Ltd, the company which provides administrative and other support services for advocates.
He succeeds Peter Gray, QC, who has stepped down after almost four years in the post.
Mr Clarke called to the bar in 1994, after some years in practice as a solicitor, and took silk in 2008. He has a varied civil practice with specialisations in valuation for rating and personal injury law. He became a member of the Faculty Council at the beginning of this year.
He commented: “I am delighted to take on the role of Chair of Faculty Services. As I see it, my role is to look after FSL employees and help them in any way I can and to look after the interests of members of Faculty. I have always been interested in management skills and look forward to working with FSL managers and with stable directors.”
