Gibson Kerr in second merger through Grange deal

Edinburgh legal firm Gibson Kerr has announced a second merger in recent months through a union with city-based Grange Solicitors & Estate Agents.

Grange’s principal, Gregor Mair, who has 30 years of commercial property experience, will continue in the merged firm as a consultant solicitor.

The move follows Gibson Kerr's merger with Marwicks in September 2016, and the relocation of its property team to the Dundas Street offices previously belonging to Marwicks, where Mr Mair will also work.

Scott Rasmusen, partner and head of property at Gibson Kerr, commented: “We have ambitious plans to develop our property service in 2017. The expertise of our growing team plus a prime city centre shop front location in Dundas Street will allow us to create what we think will be a new force in residential property.”
