Gilson Gray hires personal injury legal director

11th April 2019 | careers

Gilson Gray has confirmed the appointment of personal injury lawyer Ken Lauder as a legal director in its Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team.

A court practitioner with over 30 years’ experience, and a qualified solicitor advocate, Mr Lauder specialises in high value personal injury, medical negligence and other professional negligence cases while also acting in wider litigation matters. He is also a member of the Pursuers’ Panel of the Law Society of Scotland, which deals with negligence claims against other solicitors, and serves on the Society's Insurance Committee.

He was formerly a partner in Morisons, which went into administration at the end of March.

Glen Gilson, managing partner at Gilson Gray, commented: "Our success has been down to many factors but a prevalent theme has been our ability to hire the best people.

"With Ken this is exactly what we’re getting. Not only one of the top personal injury lawyers in Scotland but also an experienced individual who can help guide clients through what can be a stressful and confusing situation."
