Harper Macleod becomes STEP Gold Employer Partner

Harper Macleod has been awarded Gold Employer Partner status by STEP, the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning.

The award recognises the high standard of professional learning and development the firm provides to its solicitors. It is the second of three levels awarded under STEP's Employer Partnership Programme, platinum being the highest.

It also confirms Harper Macleod's commitment to helping members of its team gain their individual STEP qualifications. Two solicitors in the Private Client department have been accredited as STEP members, which brings international recognition as experts in the field.

One of them, Jacqueline Leslie, a partner in Harper Macleod's Private Client team, commented: "We put a huge emphasis on learning and development and helping our own people be the best they can be as they develop their careers. This accreditation is recognition of the supportive culture that exists within our Private Client team and the firm generally.
