HBJ Gateley figures reveal healthy growth
Law firm HBJ Gateley has reported positive financial trends in its financial year to April 2014.
Turnover at the firm grew by 9.5% per cent to £17.7m, while profits jumped by 19.9% to £8.5m.
Since the year end, in August 2014 HBJ Gateley has opened its Aberdeen office.
Malcolm McPherson, senior partner at HBJ Gateley, said growth had been driven by a roster of new business wins, strong partner hires and a focus on building relationships in the firm’s key markets.
He commented: “We’ve experienced strong growth in a legal market which still faces significant challenges, and that’s largely down to the fact that our teams work very hard to build productive, long-term relationships with clients.
“We seek out the best people in the market, at all levels, and create the kind of environment where they are able to succeed. This remains a very competitive market and we have to be absolutely committed to excellent client service, which is best achieved by finding extremely talented lawyers.”
