Inksters' raffles raise thousands for heart charity

Inksters Solicitors raised nearly £5,000 for British Heart Foundation Scotland with their two Big Winter Raffles, the firm announced today.

The Glasgow based law firm, which has five other offices across Scotland, raised a total of £4,897, offering prizes including return flights to Venice, Italy, a £500 hamper and an overnight stay at the Sligachan Hotel, Skye.

Inksters' fundraising efforts for the Foundation began after one of their lawyers was diagnosed with coronary heart disease aged 40 and then suffered the loss of her mother from a heart attack. 

Founder Brian Inkster commented: “We would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets for our Big Winter Raffles. The support and generosity shown by people has been fantastic. We are delighted with the amount raised and that we have been able to support such a good cause.”
