Kennedys hires insurer liability partner

Global law firm Kennedys has appointed a third partner to its Scottish operation, established in 2015, with the hire of partner Peter Demick from Brodies.

Based in Kennedys’ Edinburgh Quay’s office, Mr Demick will strengthen the firm’s liability expertise. Previously he headed Brodies’ casualty insurance team, but also has experience in handling claims that include catastrophic injury, fatalities and high value property damage.

His appointment brings the total headcount in Kennedys’ Scotland offices to 15, including three partners. The offices, in Edinburgh and Glasgow, specialise in insurance, personal injury and regulatory matters.
