Lindsays adds to rural services team
Legal firm Lindsays has announced the appointment of two additional members to its rural services team in Edinburgh.
Laura McKinnon, who joins as a director, advises on a wide range of matters including the acquisition, sale and management of farms and estates, forestry, crofting issues and agricultural leasing as well as dealing with onshore wind, hydro and solar renewables projects. She was previously with Shepherd & Wedderburn, which she joined when it acquired the practice of Tods Murray.
Kirsty Strachan completed her training last year with Stewart & Watson in Turriff and continued to work there in particular on property matters on behalf of landowners, individuals and businesses.
Michael Yellowlees, partner and head of rural services at Lindsays, commented: “Laura and Kirsty are valuable additions to our growing rural team and their recruitment reflects the increased volume of work that we are seeing at the moment."
