Loch Associates appoints employment and HR duo

Loch Associates Group, the employment law, wellness and HR adviser which recently opened in Scotland, has expanded its team there with the appointment of Gavin Macgregor as employment lawyer and Wendy Davidson as HR consultant.

Mr Macgregor moved last month from Clyde & Co, having previously worked for its merger partner Simpson & Marwick, which he joined on qualifying in 2013. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, he specialises exclusively in employment law. A regular blogger on current employment law topics, he delivers training seminars for clients.

Ms Davidson worked for 20 years at Vetco Gray, an oil service company based in Aberdeen, latterly as HR director, before setting up her own HR consultancy, working with a cross section of SMEs. 

Loch, which comprises Loch Employment Law, HR Advise Me, Loch Mediation and Loch Health, was founded in England by managing partner Pam Loch in 2007 and opened its first office in Scotland, in Edinburgh, in October 2016, headed by partner Chris Phillips.
