Lord Advocate appoints Scottish Government standing juniors
New appointments and reappointments as standing junior counsel to the Scottish Government have been made by the Lord Advocate, James Wolffe, QC.
Christine O’Neill, solicitor advocate is First Standing Junior Counsel, and Ruth Charteris, advocate will be Second Standing Junior Counsel.
Others to hold the post are advocates Alasdair Burnet, Daniel Byrne, Ewen Campbell, Duncan Hamilton, Miranda Hamilton, Bryan Heaney, Lesley Irvine, Wojciech Jajdelski, Leigh Lawrie, Kenneth McGuire, Julie McKinlay, Susan Ower, Chris Paterson, Paul Reid, Alasdair Sutherland, Laura Thomson and Laura-Anne van der Westhuizen; and solicitor advocate Niall McLean.
