MacRoberts appoints four new partners
Neil Amner, Robin Corbett, Martin Sales and Martin Gallaher are to join MacRoberts are partners from DWF (which merged with Biggart Baillie in 2012.
They will operate out of MacRoberts' Glasgow and Edinburgh offices, but work Scotland-wide in sectors including transport, energy, construction, projects and planning.
The number of partners at the firm will grow to 49, its highest ever total.
The latest appointments were welcomed by John Macmillan, who last September was elected as MacRoberts' Managing Partner for a second time and set out plans for significant development, including increasing the workforce by 10% within a year.
Mr Macmillan said: "I am delighted that Neil, Martin, Robin and Martin are joining us, and are bringing their considerable experience to complement the skills and expertise already at MacRoberts. They have been working together and therefore their simultaneous recruitment allows us to gain from substantial synergies of their individual practices."
