Mitchells Roberton announces further merger
Mitchells Roberton, the legal practice that describes itself as the oldest firm in Glasgow, is to expand by merging with a more recently established Glasgow firm, Adie Hunter.
Taking effect from 3 March 2017, the merger will see Adie Hunter partners David Adie and Graeme Hunter move from their premises at 15 Newtion Terrace to join Mitchells Roberton as consultants in the firm's North Hanover Street offices. Their staff will also move.
Adie Hunter was founded by its present partners in 1988, and has a private client and business practice. Full service practice Mitchells Roberton traces its history at least as far back as the 1740s and perhaps to early that century.
"We are all very much looking forward to having David, Graeme and their experienced team on board", Mitchells Roberton said in a statement.
