Morisons signs up two associates

27th January 2017 | careers

Morisons Solicitors has made two associate appointments among a trio of new hires in its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

Angela McMahon joins the private client team from Anderson Strathern. A qualified financial adviser as well as a solicitor, she is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Personal Finance Society, the Chartered Insurance Institute and Solicitors for the Elderly.

Also based in Edinburgh, Janette Kenny joins the property team as an associate specialising in conveyancing, having previously worked for Davidson Chalmers, MHD Law and Simpson & Marwick. She is a member of the Edinburgh Conveyancers Forum.

Emma Berwick has been appointed as marketing executive. A graduate of City of Glasgow College, she has worked for renewable energy, homebuilding, scientific and later life planning organisations while studying the Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Managing partner Peter Duff commented: “We have embarked on a robust growth strategy and these appointments will further strengthen our offering to clients and help position the firm within a competitive landscape.”
