Morton Fraser makes legal director hire in residential property
Solicitor firm Morton Fraser has appointed Joanne Cruickshank as legal director in its Residential Property team.
Previously a partner at Pagan Osborne, Aberdein Considine and Raeburn Christie Clarke & Wallace, Ms Cruickshank brings 26 years of experience to the role. She will take on leadership responsibility for Morton Fraser’s residential conveyancing services, working alongside head of estate agency, Denise McKenzie.
Her appointment is the first to the role of legal director at Morton Fraser. The firm said it had introduced the role to drive commercial success and enhance the career opportunities for its people.
Chris Harte, chief executive commented: "Joanne has a great track record and her appointment, in the newly created legal director role, was a natural choice. It will allow us to build on the achievements of the Residential Property team which has established itself as one of the best in Scotland."
