Morton Fraser promotes two to partner
Legal firm Morton Fraser has promoted associates Suzanne Hardie and Nicola Ross to partner, bringing the firm’s partner strength to 43.
The promotions recognise the high performance and continuing growth of both the public sector and commercial litigation practices at Morton Fraser. Nicola Ross is integral to the firm’s commercial litigation and insolvency offerings while Suzanne Hardie has played a key role in the development of the highly successful public sector team.
A member of the public sector team, Ms Hardie becomes a "home grown" partner, having joined Morton Fraser as a trainee in 2003. She advises clients, who include local authorities and the London and Edinburgh Governments, on public procurement matters, including strategy, process and disputes, as well as providing advice on the structuring of public sector development and investment projects.
Ms Ross, who joined Morton Fraser in 2008 and works mainly from its Glasgow office, is an experienced commercial litigator specialising in commercial contract disputes, landlord/ tenant disputes, asset finance disputes and insolvency litigation.
Chief executive Chris Harte commented: “Suzanne and Nicola both have proven track records in delivering expert support to their clients and we are delighted to welcome them to the partnership."
