New Vice President to Sheriff Appeal Court appointed

The Lord President has confirmed the appointment of Sheriff Principal Abercrombie, QC, as the new Vice President to the Sheriff Appeal Court.

The Sheriff Principal replaces Sheriff Principal Scott who retires on 31 August. His appointment will run from 1 September 2016 until 20 April 2020.
