Partner and associate promotions at Thompsons

Two partner and three associate promotions have been announced at legal firm Thompsons.

The new partners are Peter O’Donnell and David Martyn, who jointly manage the firm’s employment law team. Between them they have grown the number of trade union clients represented by the firm and are regularly involved in high profile employment cases.

Advanced to associate are Lindsay Bruce who works in mass litigation, Craig Smillie in the lung disease team, and Greg McEwen of the road traffic accident team.

Wendy Durie, partner at Thompsons, commented: “The contributions that both Peter and David have made to expanding and developing the employment team are difficult to overestimate. Both are extremely dedicated and hard working."
