Partner promotion at Muir Myles Laverty

Dundee law firm Muir Myles Laverty has promoted employment law specialist Ryan Russell to partner.

Mr Russell has been given the task of building up the practice’s employment law department.

A graduate of the University of Dundee, he qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and has regularly appeared before mental health tribunals as a curator as well as before employment tribunals. Last year he was appointed course organiser for employment law on the Diploma in Legal Practice at Dundee University. He was shortlisted for the Rising Star of the Year Award at this year's Scottish Legal Awards.
