Party litigants asked for views on simple procedure
Party litigants who have used the new simple procedure for lower value cases in the sheriff court are being asked to send in their experiences to the Scottish Civil Justice Council.
An online questionnaire has been published by the SCJC, which is conducting research into the experience of people who have conducted their own case under the procedure.
It has commissioned the University of Glasgow to carry out research into their experiences. The purpose is to gather information about how well party litigants in the sheriff court are able to use the procedure.
