Personal injury partner hire for Allan McDougall
Allan McDougall Solicitors has strengthened its Personal Injury team with the appointment of Stephen Irvine as partner.
Formerly a partner at Morisons, which went into administration last month, Mr Irvine has been handling personal injury cases, including medical negligence and industrial disease matters, for over 20 years, acting primarily on behalf of trade union members. He returns to the firm where he initially trained, and will be based in its central Edinburgh office.
Julie Harris, partner and head of Allan McDougall's Personal Injury team, commented: “Stephen will make a great asset to our team with his vast experience and high calibre of expertise. His trade union track record sits perfectly alongside, and enhances, the work we undertake for injured trade union members. He’s a welcome fit for a firm that is proud of its trade union heritage and pursuit of justice for the individual.
“Our growing team underlines our expansion across all areas of personal injury litigation. We look forward to Stephen contributing to the continued success of Allan McDougall Solicitors and achievement of results for our clients over the coming years."
Allan McDougall won the Litigation Team of the Year award at the Scottish Legal Awards 2019, and the Law Awards of Scotland 2018.
