Peter Tweedie named as Lindsays' chairman
Corporate partner Peter Tweedie has been named as the new chairman at Edinburgh-headquartered legal firm Lindsays.
Mr Tweedie, who joined the firm through its merger with Shield & Kyd four years ago, takes over from private client partner David Reith, who has been in the role for five years.
As chairman he will work with the current management team, including Alasdair Cummings, managing partner and Ian Beattie, chief operating officer, along with partners and board members Callum Kennedy (head of private client), and Dundee-based Derek Duncan (residential property).
Mr Tweedie commented: “I’m delighted and am looking forward to working with the board and the whole team at Lindsays to deliver high-quality legal services to businesses and individuals.”
