Pinsent Masons named Legal 500 Scotland Firm of the Year

Pinsent Masons has been announced as Scotland’s Firm of the Year by the global rankings body Legal 500 UK.

The firm, which has offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen and employs an estimated 500 lawyers and support staff in Scotland, was recognised for the strength of its individual specialists and practice teams across the full spectrum of commercial law.

Legal 500 analyses the capabilities of law firms across the world and assesses the strengths of law firms in over 150 jurisdictions. The rankings are based on a series of criteria which highlight the practice area teams who are providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice to clients.

Its most recent listings recognised Pinsent Masons as having 29 named leading individuals in Scotland, and the firm achieved 22 tier 1 rankings, signifying elite level expertise in a wide range of sectors. These included banking and restructuring, corporate and commercial, employment, projects, oil and gas, commercial property, IT, media and intellectual property.
