Pinsent Masons promotes four in Scotland to legal director

6th May 2019 | careers

International law firm Pinsent Masons has announced the promotion of four Scottish lawyers to legal director.

Glasgow-based Susannah Donaldson, Elaine MacGregor and Katherine Metcalfe, along with Edinburgh colleague Pamela Gilmour are advanced from senior associate.

Ms Donaldson is an employment law specialist with a strong focus on complex employment litigation, discrimination and gender equality issues; Ms MacGregor advises on investment funds and has wide ranging experience in private equity, real estate, debt finance and infrastructure deals; Ms Metcalfe is a litigator specialising in advice on health and safety, fire safety and environmental matters; and Ms Gilmour is experienced in advising lenders and corporates in all aspects of banking and finance, including structured real estate finance, acquisition finance and general corporate finance transactions.

Richard Masters, Pinsent Masons chairman for Scotland and Northern Ireland, commented: “Congratulations to all four new legal directors who each make a significant contribution to our Scottish offering and to our clients working internationally.

"We have a diverse range of skilled lawyers, innovators and progressive thinkers at Pinsent Masons and all of them play an important role in delivering legal services to our clients. As a business we have long focused on creating an inclusive environment that enables everyone to work towards their aspirations and these promotions reflect this ethos.”
