Posts to be filled on 15 Society committees

Vacancies on 15 of the Law Society of Scotland's committees and subcommittees, including three convenerships, are currently open for application.

All 15 have solicitor vacancies, while both solicitors and non-solicitors are invited to apply to serve on the Audit Committee, the Marine Law Subcommittee, the Property & Land Law Reform Subcommittee, the Public Policy Committee and the Tax Law Subcommittee.

The three convener posts have arisen on the Professional Conduct Subcommittee, the Banking, Company & Insolvency Law Subcommittee, and the Pensions Law Subcommittee.

Five in-house lawyers are sought to serve on the In-house Lawyers' Committee; and the Regulatory Commitee and Legal Aid Committee are two other key committees also looking for new members.
