Promotions and trainee moves at MacRoberts

Legal firm MacRoberts has announced a total of nine internal promotions at the same time as it welcomes this year's new trainees and keeps on five of the newly qualified solicitors whi have completed their traineeships.

Jamie Duff, Graham Horn, Brian Jackson, Richard MacDonald and Pryderi Thomas have all been promoted from senior solicitor to associate level, while solicitors Rebecca Barrass, Hamish Campbell, Bonar Mercer and Rebecca Pollington have been promoted to senior solicitor.

Hannah Ward, Rhea MacKenzie, Amy Drew, Rebecca Henderson and Emily Wallace all qualified as solicitors on 1 September and have been given positions as solicitors.

The firm has also welcomed eight first-year trainees to its Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee offices.

Managing partner Neil Kennedy commented: “Everyone has worked incredibly hard this year and these promotions are richly deserved. We are delighted so many of our trainees are staying with us to continue their careers in law.”
