Property partner hire for Shepherd & Wedderburn

Legal firm Shepherd & Wedderburn has announced a partner hire to its real estate and infrastructure practice with the arrival of Jamie Grant, a partner at MacRoberts for the last 23 years.

Mr Grant has an in-depth expertise in property and environmental law (in particular in contaminated land), energy and renewables. His projects have included onshore wind and hydro schemes, bio-mass and anaerobic digestion schemes, a tidal scheme and mineral rights.

He joins the firm’s Glasgow office, just ahead of its relocation to a brand new building in the city’s West Regent Street.
