Putting the Mental Health Act into practice: ministers seek views
Scottish ministers have opened the first of two consultations on implementing the Mental Health (Scotland) Act 2015.
Written in simple language aimed at lay people affected by the Act, the paper seeks views on the working of the named person system, conflicts of interest in medical professionals, safeguards for treatments given to those under 16, proposed changes relating to advance statements, and impact assessments.
