Quick feedback needed on draft judicial review practice note: Society

An appeal to court solicitors has been issued by the Law Society of Scotland for an early response on a further updated draft practice note from the Court of Session, dealing with judicial review applications.

With short timescales operating, the Society would welcome feedback by this Wednesday, 26 April, on the planned replacement for Practice Note no 5 of 2015.

From feedback received on earlier versions, previous draft requirements to lodge joint and core bundles, and the requirements around electronic presentation of authorities and documents have been removed. Revisions have also been proposed to the sections on permissions, and notes of argument.

The Society is keen to reflect the views of as many members as possible in its comments.
