Real estate partner joins TLT

UK law firm TLT has appointed Richard Turnbull as a real estate partner, working out of the firm's Scottish offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Dual qualified in Scotland and England & Wales, Mr Turnbull regularly advises on land assembly issues, project acquisitions and project disposals, and specialises in the property aspects of energy transactions, including all forms of renewables, having acted for developers, landowners and funders.

He joins from Pinsent Masons, where he was a senior associate, and was previously with CMS.

Maria Connolly, head of real estate at TLT, commented: "Richard joins us at an exciting time. Our ambitious growth plans and continuing success in our chosen sectors have seen revenues in Scotland increase by around 45% in the last two years.
