Registers' open day offers insight into processes
Registers of Scotland is to hold its first open day so that people in the property community can gain an insight into its processes.
Taking place on Wednesday 22 May 2019 at its Edinburgh headquarters, Registers promises "an opportunity to see first-hand the breadth and scale of the registration process and what RoS is doing to help accelerate it for our customers". Visitors will be able to speak to some of the staff involved and ask questions and obtain advice on registration matters.
Sessions will follow the journey of a residential first registration through to completion, and optional workshops will cover a range of topics such as ScotLIS, transfers of part, the Development Plan Approval service and mapping.
Guests are also invited to propose specific areas or processes they would like to see included.
