Rooney Nimmo secures China tie-up

Boutique corporate law firm Rooney Nimmo has entered into an affiliation with Chinese practice Beijing Zhongjan Law Firm, the Scotsman reports today.

The Edinburgh and New York based practice made a similar deal last year with JC Legal of Hong Kong, and intends this latest move to enable its client base, which consists mainly of growth companies and investors, to access key markets as efficiently as possible. 

Edinburgh founding partner John Nimmo commented: "Beyond our already strong US/UK cross border capabilities, China is a natural extension and gives us a unique offering that will benefit our clientele."
