SCJC revises "Winter Tour" dates

28th October 2015

The Scottish Civil Justice Council’s "Winter Tour" roadshow schedule has been cut from seven events to three, due to low uptake for the sessions planned in Kilmarnock, Dumfries, Perth and Selkirk.

The seminars, which will discuss recent and forthcoming reforms to the civil court rules, will go ahead in Aberdeen, Inverness and Glasgow. Places are still available and those who expressed interest in the other locations have been offered a space in another event.

Revised dates are: Aberdeen, 18 November; Inverness, 19 November; and Glasgow, 26 November. All events will take place from 4.15-5.30 pm.

The informal, one-hour sessions are for court users wanting to know more about the reforms. They will also offer the chance to provide feedback on the Council’s work. Click here for further information.

To attend, register by emailing scjc@scotcourts.gov.uk, indicating your choice of session and in what capacity you will be attending, e.g. solicitor etc.
