Scots solicitor appointed to the Single Financial Guidance Body
Mike Dailly, director of the Govan Law Centre in Glasgow, has been appointed as a non-executive director to the Board of the Single Financial Guidance Body (SFGB).
He will take up his post when the body comes into existence, expected to be on 1 October 2018.
The SFGB will bring together services currently delivered by the Money Advice Service, the Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise. To ensure a smooth transition to the SFGB, the need to retain valuable experience of the existing services has been identified.
With the agreement of the Minister for Pensions and Financial Inclusion Mr Dailly, currently a non-executive director of the Money Advice Service, will be appointed to the SFGB for a period of two years. Joining him as a non-executive director to the Board for the same period will be Ann Harris, chair of the Pensions Advisory Service.
Both will remain in their current roles.
