Scottish Law Commission goes all-digital
The Scottish Law Commission is going all-digital, with discussion papers and reports being published only on its website www.scotlawcom.gov.uk in future, and no longer in hard copy as well.
The first such publication will follow shortly – the Commission's Review of Contract Law: Report on Third Party Rights.
All past Commission publications are already available on its website.
Lord Pentland, chairman of the Commission, commented: "This is the latest step in our ongoing programme of modernisation at the Scottish Law Commission. We seek fully to embrace the opportunities offered by the digital age, to avoid adverse environmental impact and to save money on hard copy printing. With these aims in mind we have decided to move to publication of our work in electronic format only. We have a modern and accessible website and I would encourage anyone with an interest in law reform to use it and to contact us with their views."
