Senior associate hire for Ledingham Chalmers

12th November 2014 | careers

Aberdeen-based law firm Ledingham Chalmers has added to its commercial property team with eh appointment of Lesley Currie as a senior associate.

With more than 25 years' experience, Ms Currie has worked across all aspects of the sector, with particular emphasis on site assembly and disposal for developers and house builders, leasing work for both landlord and tenant as well as investment sale and purchase.

She previously joined Ledingham Chalmers in the early 1990s, where she spent five years before moving to Paull & Williamson, which became Burness Paull last year.

Ms Currie said she was delighted to re-join the firm. “I was attracted by the exciting and diverse portfolio of work at Ledingham Chalmers not only in commercial property but across the company as a full-service firm. I was also aware of the flexibility they can offer employees, which was something I was keen to explore.”

Jennifer Young, chairman and partner of Ledingham Chalmers, said: “The wealth of experience Lesley has developed over the last 28 years has brought further strength and depth to the commercial property team. She has quickly become an invaluable member of her department and the firm.”
