Sheridan named as new TLT Scottish head
Disputes partner John Paul Sheridan has been named as the new head of UK law firm TLT's operations in Scotland.
He succeeds Tom McEntegart, who took charge of the 2012 merger with Anderson Fyfe which saw TLT acquire a Scottish presence. He joined the firm as a trainee in 1998 and is now a commercial litigator and solicitor advocate, working particularly in the financial services and property sectors.
Mr McEntegart will continue to develop TLT's business in the financial services sector.
Mr Sheridan commented: "We've had an impressive period of rapid growth across the UK. In Scotland this has meant broadening our expertise and offering to clients, from a recognised heritage in banking & finance disputes and real estate to include areas like employment, licensing, and energy & renewables.
"This is an exciting time for the business and I'm looking forward to building on the strong platform that Tom has delivered, to realise our ambitious growth plans for the future."
TLT, which has offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Belfast, Bristol and London, reported revenues of £74.6m in 2016-17 and employs about 75 people in its Scottish offices.
