Six rewarded in Lindsays promotion round

16th April 2018 | careers

Solicitor firm Lindsays has announced six promotions within the firm, including one new director, two associates being promoted to senior associate, and three new associates.

Four of the promoted lawyers are members of Lindsays’ Commercial Property team. Andrew Boccoli (Edinburgh) is now a director in the Construction group; Darren Leahy (Dundee) and Vanessa Beattie (Edinburgh) both take on senior associate roles; and Sharon Drysdale (Edinburgh) is now an associate.

The other new associates are Pamela Dobson in the Family Law team in Dundee, and Gregor MacEwan in Litigation (Edinburgh).

The firm said the appointments reflected its strategy of developing legal services for clients across all key practice areas as well as recognising and nurturing talent from within the business.

Managing partner Alasdair Cummings commented: “It is rewarding for the board and our partners to be able to recognise these talented lawyers and we look forward to supporting them as they develop their careers with the firm.

“Our strategic plan is to continue growing and strengthening Lindsays and to further develop the range of services which we offer to both our individual and commercial clients across our three city locations. Investing in the next generation is an important part of that strategy.”
