Social media survey puts Inksters high in Twitter ratings
Scots legal firm Inksters is rated along with major London practices in a report on social media use by UK law firms.
Inksters is ranked as having the most mentioned Twitter account, and the third highest overall score following City giants Allen & Overy and Clifford Chance.
The report, by Online Ventures Group, tracks the social media progress of law firms across the UK, providing an in-depth look into the ranking of various firms in terms of Twitter followers, retweets, and much more. It aims to provide law firms with an insightful analysis into how their tactical approach to Twitter compares to competing firms, and the chance to explore areas where improvements can be made.
It states: "the account with the most number of mentions is Inksters Solicitors, which shows that their tweets are highly engaging".
Inksters' founder, Brian Inkster, said: "Social media should be all about engagement with others and Twitter mentions is therefore a significant metric to come out top on. Too many law firms just broadcast, and I am delighted that the report highlights Inksters for our Twitter interaction.
"The report also shows that social media can level the playing field, with a small Scottish law firm ranking up there with some of the biggest law firms in the world."
Online Ventures Group co-founder James Welch stated: “Social media and Twitter have become incredibly dominant factors in terms of online marketing. We felt almost a sense of duty to provide a report for law firms across the UK in order to allow them to see just how important they are, and also how their current campaigns are performing.
“A lot of companies apply these Twitter tactics without applying metrics which would allow them to gauge exactly where they are succeeding and where their downfalls are."
