The Law Society of Scotland has opened an application round for committee positions.
There are currently 15 vacancies on a wide range of committees, including the Regulatory Committee, with four convener posts among the vacancies.
Conveners are sought for the Client Protection Subcommittee, the Criminal Law Committee, the Equalities Law Subcommittee and the Marine Law Subcommittee. Ordinary member vacancies are waiting to be filled on the committees or subcommittees covering charity law, civil legal aid quality assurance, consumer law, insurance (property law experience desired), legal aid, nominations, practising certificates, property law, rights of audience and tax law, as well as the Regulatory Committee.
