Summary sheriffs appointed

Seven new summary sheriffs have been appointed to Glasgow Sheriff Court at a formal introduction ceremony.

Sheriff principal Craig Scott QC conducted the proceedings in one of the jury courts in front of the current sheriffs, as well as court staff and officials.

The seven new summary sheriffs are Walter Mercer, Tony Kelly, Alan Findlay, Mary McCrory, Robin Christie, Brian Cameron and Frances McCartney.
