SYLA kicks off new season with a rebrand

The Scottish Young Lawyers' Association has announced the first events of its 2016-17 season – along with a rebrand of the organisation.

A brand new logo and website – www.syla.co.uk – have now gone public and to celebrate this, and also to kick off the new SYLA year in style, an event will be held in Rick’s, Edinburgh on Thursday 15 September from 6.30pm. Tiickets, at £10 per person, include a BBQ and welcome drink.

Before that, on Thursday 8 September, SYLA will host “An Evening with McTears Auctioneers” in Glasgow. Drinks and canapes will be provided by McTears and the event will include short presentations and interactive activities in relation to estate valuation processes and attaching value to objects.

The first in the year’s “Spotlight on…” series will be "Spotlight on Technology", featuring speakers from the legal teams at Skyscanner, Cognizant Technology Solutions and Vodafone. This event will take place at the offices of CMS in Glasgow on 27 September.
